Nice easy run along canal to a farm near shireoaks looking for Swallows but none yet.

Nice easy run mainly along the canal but took climbed up from the canal through some woods that the floor away from the path was covered in white wild garlic with bursts of bluebells before dropping back down to the canal and back home.

Easy run. Had rucksack on because I needed to call at chemist on my way through the village on way back. Warm with that on. Legs a little tired feeling at first but probably because of a long set of nights. Once they knew what I wanted them to do felt fine

Never sure what to call this session so settled on a Fartleks. After warm up run the slanted slope on pit several hill sprints with jogged recovery still going up hill. Last one a bit longer and carried it on over the brow of the hill. Easy few miles on pit top the down to marked 100m bit of path for strides up and down. Then some running drills to car park. Nice session. Started with some HADD type training. Today’s run was 60 mins initial lactate threshold heart rate (Sub LT)
Mile warm and to get me to a reasonably flat route. Out and back for the 60 min part. Some changes in pace due to a few parts with small climbs in. Warm up with some beach running then 60 mins initial lactate threshold heart rate (Sub LT). Mainly done on the Maravan loop.
Small cool down.
