It has a rather random selection of free weights. The message seems to be, "We'd rather you didn't use these, but if you do we're not going to give you anything you could hurt yourself with."

It is a very convenient exercise that you can fit into any schedule. It is best to make it a consistent habit that is mildly challenging.
